GeneList
Gene List
Overview
Table of genes with links to gene specific information
Interpretation
Like most tables, the gene lists follow the Palace Table View conventions. Each row contains information a about a gene. The gene list is composed of tree columns: Gene, Reactions and Links.
Gene Column
This column contains the commonly used symbol for the gene.
Reactions Column
This column contains the number of reactions targeting the gene that were accomplished.
Links Column
This column contains one or more link to pages containing detailed information about the gene and the reactions accomplished. Typically, these pages contain at least an RNA source list and a primer pair list specific to the gene.
In the cases where multiple instances of the same gene have been used in the analysis, a link will appear for each instance. Different instances are used when, for example:
- custom transcript annotation is used
- data is to be analyzed against a combination of many gene information sources (NCBI, AceView, EnsEMBL, etc.)
- data is to be analyzed against different versions of gene information sources (AceView Aug05, AceView Apr07, etc.)
